California Travel Guides
California Regions
California regions are surprisingly subjective. They differ depending on who you ask, and there aren’t any definitive region lines. The map below is how they are separated on my blog!
Bay Area
I grew up in the Bay Area and currently live in the East Bay! The Bay Area is home to San Francisco, wine country, Silicon Valley, and a wide variety of other cities from the coast to the valley.
Central California
The Central Coast is south of the Bay Area and north of Santa Barbara. It is home to small beach towns and some of the most picturesque views!
The Central Valley grows more than half of the country’s fruit and vegetables! It has farms, rural areas, and some major cities like Sacramento.
Northern California
From gorgeous coastal towns to quaint mountain towns, there is so much to explore in Northern California!
Eastern California
Between epic mountain views, beautiful hot springs, and charming towns, there’s no shortage of places to explore in Eastern California.
Southern California
Southern California is known for its pristine beaches and laid-back vibes. Relax on the beaches of Santa Barbara, take a trip to Disneyland, or visit the many art museums.
