A top priority for me on trips is to find the best photo spots and take amazing, memorable photos. I love being both behind and in front of the camera, but it’s especially fun to set up my tripod and be both at the same time!
Travel photos are meaningful to me because I can look back at them and appreciate the photos from every trip. They help me remember my trips more deeply and provide me with a digital memory book.
Taking photos is one way I enjoy my surroundings, as opposed to feeling like it takes me out of them. With a camera in hand, I typically spend more time enjoying the sights as I frame each shot, compared to taking in everything at once.
