Hi, I’m kessler!

I’m a California native who grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. After high school, I moved to Santa Barbara for four years and graduated from UC Santa Barbara. Upon college graduation, I moved to San Diego for two years where I worked, took art classes, and met my now-husband!

After moving up and down the coast, I ended up back in the Bay Area where I currently live with my husband and two kitty brothers (Captain Jack and Sparrow). My second home is Santa Barbara, which I visit every few months and know better than my hometown.

At the end of 2023, I quit my 9-5 job at a large tech company in the Bay Area to run my blog full-time, travel, and enjoy life.

Among my many passions and hobbies, travel and photography have remained consistent favorites. Writing helpful travel guides and sharing photos from my trips is what I find most fulfilling.
